ABC News shared about an alleged violent carjacker who has been charged with 26 offences following a 200km Bruce Highway pursuit. The name of the person in question is Dylan Matthew Hammond as reported by the police. Primarily, he allegedly stabbed a woman's hand while trying to steal her car inside her property. Later on, he was shot by police and run over by a caravan. Due to the incident, he was charged with 26 offences and that include serious assault of police and armed robbery. Prior to carjacking, he allegedly stole a man's ute at Hervey Bay on July 10 and drove it 50 kilometres south to Maryborough.
